We emailed the record company to produced that produced the song (Elktra records) to get permission to use there song in our music video.

Draft advert 2
I pitched both ideas to my chosen target audience in order to see which one appealed to them more. The group decided that they prefered the second draft rather than the first because they believe that a closer up shot of the artist would catch more of the target audiences attention rather that a lot of writting. Going a head I will look back at this draft and produce the final product around this.

Theses were the results:
100% of the people we asked agreed that the digipack draft style suited our chosen song and style of music. This shows that we wont need to make to much of a change to the basic style of the digi pack.
Half of the people we asked said that we should use another image of the artist when it comes to making the final product and therefore we have decided to add a picture of the artist on the CD.
The majority of the people we asked said that a simple design looked good on the draft digi pack therefore we think we will keep the digipack simple with neutral colours in order to please our targer audience. Although we could consider adding another small image on the front to please the other 20%. Finally on the 3rd question when we asked people to comment on whether our chosen colour scheme was suitable, people suggested answers such as 'yes, the soft colours match the tone of the music...' and '...i also think using warm yellow colours would look good' so we will have these ideas in mind when creating our final product. Research: Target Audience Feedback- Animatic Music Video
We asked people from our target audience to watch our animatic and explained what we want to achieve when it comes to producing the final product. We noted some of their points down so that we can take them into concideration when it comes to producing our final video. Some of the comments included:

We showed shots of George dancing like how it is shown in this screen shot here. We tried to use some ideas from the actual current music video as it shows that the genre of the music is very upbeat and young.
We used close up shots of George and other girls and boys as in the Kickstarts video you see men and women close up as well as the artist. These shots were quite fast in order to go with the beat of the music representing again the genre of the music well and how upbeat the song is. We tried to keep the preliminary task quite simple which is why we copied a lot of the shots from the actual Kickstart video.
The opening of the original video starts with a shot of example taping his feet in time to the music which we thought was a really effective and professional looking shot and therefore decided to use it in our product as well. We would have liked to have been able to use the split screen shot shown above but didnt have the technology to do so and therefore decided to use different transition to make it look more professional and fun.
